AURO Oiling and waxing of Wooden Floors

AURO Oiling and waxing of Wooden Floors AURO’s solvent-free PurSolid Hard oil and the PurSolid Hard wax offer the most preservative protection of wooden floors. The wood structure remains distinctly visible, the wood itself maintains its breathing and water-regulating abilities and can thus support a healthy indoor climate. Oiling impregnates the wood and thereby reduces its absorbency and provides for good protection against dirt and water. Just apply the Hard oil, remove excess oil that was not absorbed by the wood and polish. Then distribute Hard wax on the floor, polish it into the wood and thus produce a thin protective layer that improves both the durability and the surface feel of the floor. The noble, satin-mat sheen of the surface is fully brought into effect by the additional wax layer. AURO’s ecological products are based on organic and mineral raw materials. The name AURO stands for ecologically sound construction and a healthy living in line with nature. More AURO paints, cleaning, care and maintenance products without synthetic solvents or pollutants can be found on www.auro.com.

Now, rather than hauling out the carpet cleaner every month, Meg can simply scrub her wooden painted floors with ease! ( To learn how to scrub painted wooden floors view my ‘How to Clean Painted Wooden Floors’ video on my channel) This video documents the way in which Meg transformed the entryway of her home which was carpet into wooden flooring with a painted diamond pattern. This project was inexpensive and very fun and for it’s size and effect required very little. Here’s a list of the products and supplies used: Sharp Stanley Knife Red DEvil Fluffy Filler Rust-Oleum Surface Primer Blue Gray and Oval Room Blue Floor Painted from Farrow & Ball Spirit Level Blue Chalk Good Quality Paint Brush To create a similar effect in your Hallway, you will need to give yourself a week or so as the process requires various stages to achieve a really great result.
