I applied a stain to my oak hardwood floor and it’s pretty much dry and discovered some little steps from my cat on the wood (don’t know who let her in the room…)I still didn’tapplied the poly finish. How do I remove/cover/hide those steps? Thank you in advance for your help!

I cleaned my hardwood floor with clorax bleach . And since I have done that u see all these streaks on it . I have mopped over it a million times with water and I dry it will a towel afterwards. So any suggestions on what to use to get rid of the streaks .

Is there a product that will allow me to create a curve between my hardwood floor and my carpet? I need to make a curve in my hardwood floor and then put a curved reducer at the edge.

We accidently spilled a bottle of bleach-based laundry detergent on our hardwood floor last week. We then mistakenly compounded the problem by attempting to clean up the bleach with water (hey, water should clean right?). Now our floor is covered with both white and black marks. I’ve read differing opinions on the best way to remedy the floor problem. Is there anyone that can provide some insight? Thanks for the help!

I just finished sanding my hardwood floor, and applied three coats of polyurethane. I was wondering if there were any final steps to take after this? Can you wax this kind of floor, or use any additional products to prevent it from getting damaged?

I have looked on the internet and can only find the foam pad that polishes, but leaves circular marks on my hardwood floor.

I have seen felt wool pads in 6", but not 12". I want a burnishing pad, one that will leave a high shine on my floors.

I’d like to get our big area rug cleaned before we have family over for Thanksgiving. Can I rent a carpet shampooer and use it on the rug over a hardwood floor? It seems like it should be OK but I don’t want to damage the floor. Would it be better if we folded it in half to let the floor dry in sections or something?
